Okay family, friends and committed readers. I need to formally apologize for the length of time it's taken me to update this thing. I love my blog. I'm sorry. Late summer is absolutely the busiest time of our year without a doubt and somehow we found it impossible to sit down and post all of our photos! Needless to say, we have a ton and will be putting them up over the next couple of weeks. Along side that, updates to our facebook page, flash site and company brand will be coming this fall. So stay on the lookout.
To all of our amazing 2010 clients, THANK YOU! You've made this year so so enjoyable and cannot thank you guys enough! Next week we'll be shooting our 100th wedding :) Crazy. It's hard to think in our first 3 years that we've been lucky enough to book that many quality couples! Thanks for spreading the word! 2011 is filling up fast, so continue tell your friends to call us up before their dates get booked!
Lastly, October is almost here. And because October is my favorite month for multiple reasons, we'll be offering BIG product promotions for those of you who are still interested in prints and albums but aren't quite sure if now's the best time :) Trust me, October will be the best time! BUUUUUUUT, you must keep reading the blog to take advantage of them!

I don't post about gear much, primarily because I don't feel like the next new thing is what makes someone a great photographer. I'm one of those who IS obsessed about having the best equipment available and I think it does make a difference not only in image quality, but in workflow and professionalism as well. However, I know plenty of awesome photographers that use semi-pro equipment and "ok" lenses.
Here are a couple of lenses that are on my wish list. Both of them were just released this past week.
