Easily one of my favorite venues to work in, The Pratt Place Inn is an extremely unique venue option for todays modern bride. I've photographed weddings there, as well as just receptions, however, most of my clients that get married at the Pratt Place, do so because of the all-in-one option that they offer. In my opinion, it's one of the best non traditional wedding venues available in NWA. Aside from the Inn, the property offers a classical gambrel roof barn in the adjacent pasture. This is what closes the deal for me. Weather you want the Inn, the Barn, or both, the staff at PPI will take care of you. You can find out more at www.prattplaceinn.com

I didn't get the chance to meet Amy and Jason until the day of their wedding in Birmingham, AL but it didn't really matter, they were awesome. I'm not sure I had ever met a "true" cowboy until then. What's funny to me is when I asked Jason what he did for a living he said, "I'm a cowboy." I stood there for a second ...."A real cowboy?" "Yup" he said. Well there you have it. I swear he could have jumped right out of the movie Tombstone. We loved it down there guys, thanks so much for your hospitality and for trusting us with your big day! I don't post about gear much, primarily because I don't feel like the next new thing is what makes someone a great photographer. I'm one of those who IS obsessed about having the best equipment available and I think it does make a difference not only in image quality, but in workflow and professionalism as well. However, I know plenty of awesome photographers that use semi-pro equipment and "ok" lenses.

Here are a couple of lenses that are on my wish list. Both of them were just released this past week.

So Amanda and Ryan got hitched this weekend in Oklahoma City. Not only were we honored to be there to photograph their big day, but we were super excited to bring out the mega popular PARTYBOOTH as well :) Yes, we have a partybooth (also known as the photobooth / crazybooth) and we want to bring it to YOUR reception! Amanda & Ryan, thank you guys so much for trusting us to photograph your big day!

Jeremy, you did an amazing job! I know you went above and beyond, providing the best experience we could have had! Amanda, Ryan, and friends: it was evident that this celebration was about more than Amanda and Ryan. It was about life-long friendships that have brought obvious joy to their lives. Thank you for making the day so special for them!!

Wow. What a night; the BEST of my life. Thanks again for being such a part of the crew. You were a hit and I already have future brides asking about your work... do I smell a relocation to the OKC? :-)

Thanks again... cannot wait to see all the others.
